The Amherst Historical Society and Museum invites you to join us on Saturday, October 5, 2024 for Art on the Lawn, our annual outdoor art and craft show. Artisans joining us this year include painters, book artists, fiber artists, paper arts, pottery, jewelry and shoemaking. Stop by from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Visit, chat with the artists and start your holiday shopping!

The Historical Society’s founder, Mabel Loomis Todd, was an artist herself, specializing in painting, especially scenes of nature. Hosting events that feature area artists and engage the community is directly aligned with the society’s mission.
