This year, we are hosting local artists and crafters on the lawn of the museum on Saturday, October 5, 2024. We are seeking artists who work in both traditional, indigenous, historical, and/or contemporary mediums, including fiber, painting, basket-making, spinning, drawing, jewelry, metal, pottery, photography, printmaking, woodworking and paper arts. All 2-D and 3-D artists in the Amherst region are eligible to participate. We would like the show to reflect the diversity of artists in our region. We encourage artists and crafters of all identities to consider applying. We can accommodate up to 12 artists on a first come, first served basis. Artists will be provided with a 10’x10’ space on the lawn. Artists must provide their own pop-up tent, if desired, table(s), chair(s) and display equipment.

Art on the Lawn takes place rain or shine. If the event is cancelled due to severe weather, artists will receive a refund.

This is a non-juried event. However, please include a link to your website, Facebook, or Instagram page on the registration form so we may view a sample of your work.
