Introducing our tour guide: Suzannah Fabing Muspratt trained in art and architectural history at Wellesley College and Harvard University. She spent her career at Harvard’s Fogg Art Museum; the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.; and the Smith College Museum of Art, where she was Director and Chief Curator from 1998 to 2005. A resident of Amherst for 32 years, she researched the history of hundreds of its houses as member of a Local Historic District study commission.
Recently, she helped edit and produce a book about the stained-glass windows at Grace Church, which led her to explore the stories behind the other stained glass in downtown Amherst.
